RADIATE KIDZ

A SAFE, FUN ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUR CHILDREN TO LEARN ABOUT GOD!

As a parent, one of your main concerns in life is the safety of your children and that's a priority for us at VLC and Radiate KIDZ Ministries! To make sure your kids are in as safe an environment as possible, we take the following steps:

1) We screen all our volunteers to protect your children. In addition, we only allow people to work with our children with whom we have had relationship for some time.

2) We utilize KidCheck which provides secure check-in and check-out and notification via cell phones if you desire when they are checked in. KidCheck also offers instant updates regarding food allergies or any special care for your child.

3) We have cameras placed at our entrances and exits to our kids' rooms.

4) We have a security person in the hallways during service, who locks all the doors to the building near the kids’ rooms at 10:30. This insures that all incoming traffic will be at the front of our building.

RADIATE KIDZ GATHERINGS - every Sunday @ 10am

Every 8 weeks we launch a new series that is fresh and has a theme, like our current theme, "Zooplosion"! At the end of every theme children will get immersed in a fun event that fits the theme like the spend the night party at the zoo in December.

RADIATE KIDZ GAME ROOM

The Radiate Kidz game room have your children asking to get to church early and have them wanting to stay late! They can play air hockey, video games, foosball, pool, or a number of other games!

SMALL GROUPS (CONNECTIONS)

In addition, built into each and every worship gathering is a small group atmosphere in which children develop relationships and share their thoughts about God and their personal prayer needs.

Also, children meet the first Sunday night of every month in a small group setting in our Radiate Kidz room from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, as the adults are involved in their connection groups. It's a night of fun and reinforcement of the principles they've been taught in their worship gathering!

*Nursery (ages 0-2) – The VLC nursery is staffed with highly-trained and qualified professionals who will teach your children in a safe environment of love.

*Radiate JV (ages 3-5) – Radiate JV is a special service on Sundays @ 10am that has been programmed for preschool children that provides children with a fun environment of learning.

*Radiate (ages K-5th grade) – Radiate is our high-energy children’s service led by Pastor John on Sundays in Rooms 5 & 6. From the moment kids walk in the room, they will be “hit” with powerful influences that will make learning about God exciting and real!!! During their worship experience they will be divided into age appropriate groups for learning on their own level and will then come back for a time of everybody worshipping and learning their Bible. It will be a lot of fun!!!

THE RADIATE KIDZ ZONE

The newly renovated Radiate Kidz Zone comes complete with video games and TV's, as well as a basketball game, a radical new twist on hopscotch, and numerous other fun games and activities. Also, the nursery has a playscape and ball pit where kids can have a blast!!! C
